About Us

The Cook Family Charitable Fund

The Cook family has a long history of helping families facing tough challenges. It all started in 2006 when they created The Jordyn Cook Epilepsy Fund to provide resources for people learning about epilepsy. They funded an educational website, “Growing up with Epilepsy,” partnering with Mass General Hospital’s neurologist Elizabeth Thiele. The fund pledged $350,000, making the site live in 2006 and offering valuable help to families dealing with epilepsy.

As the Cook family saw more needs in their community, the Jordyn Cook Epilepsy Fund expanded to assist families dealing with cancer, addiction, and children with disabilities. In 2016, it became The Cook Family Charitable Fund.

Today, The Cook Family Charitable Fund is committed to supporting families dealing with cancer, addiction, and children with disabilities. They focus on helping with non-medical expenses related to treatment and care, believing this eases the burden on families and lets them concentrate on their health and recovery.

Through scholarships, The Cook Family Charitable Fund provides resources and support for families facing tough times. Their programs aim to boost independence, improve quality of life, and create opportunities for socialization and community involvement.

The Cook family’s dedication to helping families in tough situations comes from their deep desire to make a positive impact. They invite you to join them in supporting families facing cancer, addiction, and children with disabilities. Your donation can make a real difference, offering hope and healing during difficult times. Thank you for your support.
